Sunday Gatherings:

SUMMER 2010 SCHEDULE (July 4-September 5)

10:30AM. One gathering time only with picnics and community following.  We will have live cafe discussions on Christian Ethics through out the summer in our Drip Cafe from 10am-10:30am.

Fall 2010 SCHEDULE (September 6)

9:45 AM  Each Sunday morning we gather at 9:30 AM grab some coffee, tea or hot cocoa from Drip (we proudly serve Blue Bottle Coffee) and head into the sanctuary for a 15 minute bantering on topics related to urban life, politics, health, cooking and the economy.  Following the discussions, Dr. Jeff Garner (lead pastor) teaches for 35 minutes on subjects relevant to faith in our contemporary habitats.  After a prayer we segue into 30 minutes of live worship with the band, led by Worship/Arts Pastor Amanda Perez and Band Director Nathan Thomason.  Poetry and reflections, paintings and expressions create a kaleidoscope of worship.   

11:30 AM  The second gathering begins with lively and energetic music and worship, followed by connect time and then the sermon.  Dr Jeff Garner (lead pastor) preaches the same sermon from the previous gathering but with an urban engergy and passion.  Call and response, ebb and flow, hope and faith, for all.  Each gathering closes with an opportunity for prayer on both a personal and communal level.  We reach out to God with our hurts and hang-ups and with expectant hearts we see and feel his presence.  The service ends around 12:45 PM. 

Our Children's Ministry offers music and arts, biblically relevant learning moments, which are often syncronized with what the adults are learning (depending on the topics). (The 9:30AM Gathering will begin a Children's Ministry in February 2009).

Dress casual or comfortable.   First time visitors get a free Blue Bottle coffee.
